This Eastbourne and Wealden Social Group has now closed but for those who wish to continue dancing, I would re-direct you to other dancing groups as detailed below:-

Eastbourne Meads U3A Country Dance Group - They meet on the 1st and 2nd Wednesday of most months from 1.45 p.m. to 4 p.m. St. Johns Hall, Meads Street, Eastbourne. The group takes a summer break, and will resume under new management in September 2015. They have two callers Brian Carter and Colin Broome who instruct the dances. These meetings are open to all Eastbourne U3A members. Contact Colin Broome on 01323 01323 64684 for further details.

Their next meeting dates are as follows:-

September 2015 - 23rd
October 2015 - 7th and 14th
November 2015 - 4th and 11th

Eastbourne Meads U3A Barn Dancing Group - They meet on the usually on the 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month from 1.45 p.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Johns Hall, Meads, Eastbourne. Their caller is Colin Broome, and I sometimes a call dance. These meetings are open to all Eastbourne U3A members. Contact Colin Broome on 01323 646846 for further details. The group is taking a summer break in 2015 at the moment and will resume in September 2015 on the following dates.

September 2015 - 30th
October 2015 - 21st and 28th
November 2015 - 18th and 25th
December 2015 - 9th (Pre Xmas Dance)

Eastbourne Folk Dance Club - They meet every Thursday evening (apart from the Summer break in August) from 7.45 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. at Upperton United Reformed Church Hall, Watts Lane, Eastbourne. Various different callers (including myself) instruct the dances. Socials are usually held about three times a year on Saturday nights. These meetings are open to all who wish to dance.
